Bagpipe preamp

The N-audio bagpipe preamp is a two channel active summing mixer with independent volume controls that amplify the signal from two 3.5 mm jack inputs for external built-in microphones. This preamp is specially designed for the Bulgarian bagpipe players. Each of the microphones is connected to the drone and the chanter of the bagpipe and using both volume controls the signal can be balanced. The unit is powered when a mono 1/4" jack is inserted to the output. It used three AA batteries and an ultra low current draw schematics to save batteries over time. The preamp hangs on the belt of the player for quick control on the knobs.
